Seekers Quest 3.10.25

I had plans to write this blog on a daily basis, but life happens. My mom used to say, “If you want to hear God laugh, make plans.” I’ve come to fully believe this as truth. The minute you make plans and think you’ve got everything under control, God throws something your way—either to test you or humble you. I’m sure we’ve all been through this, though not all of us may have given credit to God for it. We’ve all heard the phrase, "everything happens for a reason." Well, I’m a firm believer in that. For me, it’s rooted in my faith in God. Many people want to believe things happen because they’re always a victim, not realizing they’re being taught something essential for their growth and self-improvement. Or perhaps God is trying to show the truth He put in Galatians 6:7.

I really enjoy writing my blog and sharing my thoughts, and I’m committed to doing my best to post every day. However, I’ll always have things that rank higher on my priority list.

Starting April 1st, I’ll be taking on something big. I’ll share more about it as we get closer, but for now, I’m mentally preparing. It’s not something I’m taking lightly, nor should anyone who is considering it. I didn’t get to walk today since it’s thundering and storming outside. I’m just not into walking in the rain.

I’m looking forward to getting back to poker and relaxing. I’m sure that day is coming soon. Until then...
